Hi we met at the Bethlehem fair last year and we have been thinking about a bunny for our daughter(9). She is asking Santa again this year for a bunny and all the items to care for it. My question is- I’d December a bad time to get a bunny that we could like to keep outdoors in a safe and winterized hutch? She would obviously like a young bunny. Her older sister (11) has 2 cats that we hit as kittens and 11 chickens! One of our cats is a hunter so we would not want the bunny inside for that reason although she never went after our chicks abc ignores the full grown hens- it’s like she knows they are pets not food. I did have a bunny growing up along with a cat and they were best friends! We are also homeschoolers do we are home all but two weeks a year to care for a bunny and our neighbor takes care of thrm when we travel. Long email sorry
