So many times we get excited about getting a new family pet.  I have in the past, and continue to see, families get excited about a family pet, and off they go to pick it out.  

I have also found, that not all breeders, pet stores and rescues are transparent about what it takes, financially, time and emotionally, to have a pet of any kind.

I offer a one hour session, more if necessary, to discuss a family pet that would fit best in your home, life style and budget.  I am brutally transparent about all the positive AND negatives to owning a pet.

Oh my goodness, is this world full of chaos and stress.  So.....  I have created a FREE opportunity to come and relax and play with bunnies for a one hour session.  Come once in a lifetime, once a month, or once a week.

This hour is created to bring you "calm" for a short period of time.  I find that bunnies calm all my anxieties and I want to share that peace with anyone that may benefit.

You can simply sit and play and/or cuddle a bunny (or two) in silence and just take in all the love.  You can also use this time to talk and learn more about bunnies, talk about your family, or anything that is on your mind.  This time is for individuals to simply de-stress in whatever way is most comfortable for them.

I invite children of all ages to come and learn about animals.  For our younger children, I teach them to be gentle.  We talk about the different types of pets and dream about what pet they would LOVE to have.

For the older children and adults.  I offer discussions on raising, caring, breeding, training, genetics, and just about anything else the individual is interested in.  I offer hands on time with my animals to help the individual feel confident in what they have learned.

This is also a free opportunity here at Lavender's Refuge.  We welcome bible studies, homeschool groups, school groups or anyone just interested in learning about agriculture or animal care.
